REQUIREMENTS |
| Blood |
Collect one 5
mL lavender (EDTA) tube (minimum 3 mL). Store and transport at
room temperature. Specimen must be analyzed within 30 hours of
collection. EDTA collection tubes available upon request. Please
call PLA client services for prompt specimen pickup. |
| Bone marrow |
Collect one 5
mL lavender (EDTA) tube, minimum is 1 mL. Store and transport
at room temperature. Specimen must be analyzed within 30 hours
of collection. Please submit a peripheral blood specimen (lavender),
peripheral blood smear and patient history. EDTA collection tubes
are available upon request. Please call our client services for
prompt specimen pickup. |
| Tissue |
Submit fresh
tissue specimens (approximately 1 gram, or "as large as
your thumbnail") in sterile tissue culture medium (e.g.
RPMI). Store and transport at room temperature. Specimen must
be analyzed within 30 hours of collection. RPMI media is available
upon request. Please call our client services for prompt specimen
pickup. |
